Finishes

My philosophy of finishing metal has changed over the last few years. I enjoy having total control over a pistol build, from beginning to end. I also believe that my customers deserve nothing but the best, and the final finish of the pistol is the most visible element of what one sees. To that end, I am doing very little metal finishing here and relinquishing that aspect of a project to a certain few outside companies that do nothing but firearms refinishing. These folks have been chosen because they are the best and have years (or decades) of experience in refinishing. I am only offering finishes that I wouldn't hesitte in using on my own weapons. If you have another finish in mind, let's discuss it.

Whenever possible, I prefer to do the metal preparation here. Some refinishers prefer that they do the prep work. Whatever the case, getting the best possible result is always my primary concern.

The way to calculate refinishing costs is pretty simple - call or email. It's hard for me to put up a set price, only to find that the refinisher has raised the price. There will also be the added expense of shipping your pistol to the refinisher.
