Slide to Frame Fitting

On an existing pistol, I TIG weld the frame rails and remachine them.  This results in a very tight fit that will last for many thousands of rounds.

As an alternative, Acc-U-Rails can be installed.  This process is not done in-house.  Hardened steel rods are inserted into the frame after machining the slots open.  A similar machining process is also done to the slide.  The result is a very tight fit with full contact down the length of the rail.  Please visit http://www.acc-u-rail.com/ for more information.

Barrel Fitting

There is a lot more to fitting a barrel than just slapping one in the gun.  Many areas must be addressed to ensure ultimate reliability, maximum accuracy, and a long service life.  I use the best barrels available (typically Kart or KKM Precision), and fit them to exacting tolerances.  These are a few things that are done individually or as part of the process:

Kart National Match barrel, Government or Commander length, supplied and fit

KKM Precision barrel, Government, Commander, or Extended length, supplied and fit

Recrown barrel, at supplied length or cut flush to bushing
